Join us at the club meeting on March 2, 2018, when Fred Miles, KJ6OOV, will present the K6DRI D-STAR Project. This has been a work in progress for several years. K6DRI is a D-STAR digital repeater with a 2M radio set on Module C at 145.000 MHz with offset +2.5 MHz. It is now on the air and open for everyone to use. Come hear the story of the K6DRI Poject, what D-STAR is all about, the repeater coverage area, what gateway modes and networks are enabled for local amateurs to use worldwide. A live demonstration of the system capabilities is planned.
