Richard K8SQB is organizing this year’s International Light House & Lightship Weekend, which is happening on August 21 and 22 near the Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse. Plans are to make a “mini-Field-Day” setup with Richard’s HF phone station, an HF digital station by Craig N6SBN, and a satellite station by John KJ6ZL.
Although this is a two-day event, finding space to setup on Saturday may be more difficult, and so Richard is promising only Sunday. The team will setup early in one of the parking lots across the street from the lighthouse. They plan to operate until 5:00 pm.
